Storojev always knew he was destined to be an artist, but it was only after several different careers, in fields such as advertising and publishing, that he finally settled on his life's work. He now exults in creating sculpture in a variety of media and in different styles. Currently, Storojev is fascinated by the challenges of working in metal, Ever curious to experiment, Storojev employs electric lights, crystals, and water in his water fountains which gives them a uniqueness that has resulted in several commissions. Another favorite medium is stone which he finds perfect in reflecting his fascination with the human form. Storojev also likes to get his hands in clay to mold the likeness of a face, a figure or anything else that fascinates him.

Storojev divides his time between his studio and teaching sculpture at California Lutheran University where he has been on the faculty for the past several years. He especially enjoys working with students to bring out their innate creative talents. He also conducts private and group sculpture classes in the area.

He exhibits regularly at various local artistic shows in the Los Angles area. He has just completed a three-month exhibit as sole sculptor at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Storojev is associated with select, high-end designer firms. He is a member of several art and sculpture associations, including the National Sculpture Society and the International Sculpture Center.

Storojev learned his skills at several distinguished institutions and studios, such as the Brooklyn Museum of Art School, the Boston Fine Arts School, the California Art Institute, the Stone Sculpture Studio of Escondido, CA, and the Crystal-Hawk Studio in Ventura, CA. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees. He resides with his wife and young daughter in Westlake Village, California.
